GCL's wind power projects possess favorable wind resource conditions, advanced turbine units, a high level of intelligent automation, and short project delivery cycles. As of June 30, 2023, GCL's total installed capacity for grid-connected wind power operations has reached 744 MW.

The Jiande Pumped Storage Power Station, developed by GCL, has a total investment of 14 billion yuan. The project aims to construct four 600 MW reversible hydroelectric generating units, resulting in a total installed capacity of 2,400 MW. This ambitious undertaking stands as the largest planned pumped storage power station within the East China Power Grid. Its primary responsibilities include peak-load regulation, valley-filling, energy storage, frequency modulation, phase modulation, and emergency backup for the East China Power Grid.
